 Launch day was mostly uneventful - at least for us. I never seem to be able to calm my nerves when the boat is being transported around the yard or hoisted with the Travel-all, but so far all of our launches and retrievals have been successful - despite the ominous creaking and squeaking the yard's equipment makes. The day was a bit rainy, but not nasty enough to dampen our spirits. Unfortunately for some people who launched ahead of us, the day turned out to be an almost-disaster. Unable to be there for their boat's launch, the owners came by that evening only to discover that their boat had a leak and was about to sink. My dad and I spent a couple of hours helping them save their boat. Read about it in the Ship's Log page.
