   Ariel's first day in the water with us as owners. We were far from ready to head out for a sail. Beyond the obvious - no sails on yet - the jib sheet winches needed to be rebolted, anchors placed, gear stowed, etc. We did get her name placed on the transom just hours before she plunged, though. And doesn't it look good! When the sunlight hits the water just right, the goldleaf sparkles like the sunset itself.
 Ariel's first winter in Michigan. We purchased her at the end of September, and she was shipped from Cayuga Lake, NY, to St. Joseph, MI, in October whereupon she was lovingly greeted and prepped for winter. Not being able to drop her in the water as soon as she arrived was tough. It was all we could do to wait until spring!
