We finally did it!

On Sunday, July 30, we returned from three weeks of cruising on Lake Michigan. Our trip took us up the eastern shore as far north as Frankfort, stopping in at quiet anchorages along the way. From Frankfort we sailed through the Sturgeon Bay canal and worked our way up the western shore of the Door Peninsula, finally sailing out through Portes des Mortes Passage and back to Michigan. The companionship, the adventure, and the solitude were restorative and invigorating.
A trip report is in the works and will be posted in the 'ship's log' section. For now, a few pictures will have to do.

Your dad needs a pipe in his mouth to complete that picture.
